State of Maine cheese co. farmer's market

Our first day at the State of Maine cheese company farmer's market. What a great spot and turn out! We will be here every Saturday from 9am until around 2 or 3.


Big shout out to Bob and Molly who came to get some polenta sandwiches.

Our menu

Our menu will change according to availability of local produce. Once the season begins, we will be featuring certain produce and cheeses from the farmers at the local farmer's markets.

1st day complete!

We finally made it! Here is our setup at McKean and Charles wine parking lot. Handmade sign, lots of traffic and fingers crossed that people will stop, try, and love the panelle sandwich.

The Italian street food cart is here!

After a long winter of much work and planning, we are debuting our Italian street food cart on the first day of spring. The farmer's markets don't start until May, but we wanted to get an early start since it's so beautiful outside.
We will be at our Waldoboro spot in the McKean & Charles Wine Merchants
We will be there today from 11:00am - 6:00pm

Clams!

We are so lucky to have found such amazing friends since moving to Maine. We went to Steve and Kathy's house for dinner where we had freshly dug clams, courtesy of Steve's hard work diggin them the night before.

They were steamed with some white wine, garlic and onions

There is nothing like fresh seafood right out of the water.

Snow day!

We barely had snow all winter, but March 1st we get a snow storm that gave us around 8 inches. The next day it was absolutely gorgeous, everything was glistening and clear.
