Since moving to a country setting, mountain bikes were essential. For $100, we got 2, plus 50 bucks to have them delivered to our door. BONUS! The bikes have proven to be a perfect method of transportation as well as awesome off road discovery vehicles.
Ferncliff Forest is not too far away and offers lots of mountain terrain for biking and hiking.
This is the lookout tower that you are able to climb and it has views of the entire Hudson Valley, the Hudson River and the Catskill mountains.
It almost seems like no one lives here, but they do, lots of them.
Simple lunch of home made bread, apples, cheese and almonds on a wooden picnic table in the middle of the forest.
